The AnyIP proxy service has been in the market since 2019, but it only came to my radar a few weeks ago. The service makes some bold and ambitious claims, including offering its users a proxy network that can access all sites regardless of the locational requirement.
It also claims to be a fast and affordable solution for proxy users. As a proxy reviewer, my job is to verify claims, put proxies to test, and ascertain whether the proxies by a particular vendor are worth your money or you should pass. In this AnyIP review, I will reveal all you need to know about AnyIP.
Affordable Residential IPs that Work
- Over 35 million IP addresses in the pool
- Static IP retention for its rotating proxy is the longest in the market
- Uses a smart session rotation feature to rotate IPs within the same region
- Offer both residential and mobile proxies at the same price
- High performance in terms of speed based on my test
- About 38 countries supported with country, ASN, and state-level targeting
- Pricing is affordable and cheap — even for small users
- A 14-day money-back guarantee is provided to customers
The AnyIP service is a residential and mobile proxy service. The focus of this service is offering automation developers rotating proxies to power their scrapers, crawlers, and any other specialized type of bots. The network boost of over 35 million IP addresses from about 38 countries. With this, you have enough IPs to power your bot and exceed request limits to avoid getting blocked or rate-limited.
One thing you will like about this service is its smart session system. With this, IP rotation is not done randomly, but systematically in such a way that you are assigned a different IP address but from the same carrier and region.
This is especially useful for account management as switching IPs frequently from multiple regions and carriers is a sure sign that a proxy is being used. While the service does have its core strengths which lie in its pool size, high performance, and affordability, it also does have its weaknesses.
Two prominent weaknesses are, that location support is limited and secondly, the user dashboard looks clumsy to me.

The AnyIP Solution
What is the AnyIP service built for? From the name, you can tell their focus is on the general proxy provision. However, currently, there are just some tasks that they should be used for and you will do better using them for that. Let’s take a look at some of these.
网络抓取
The service offers you a pool with 35 million IP addresses in it. This is enough IP for web scraping. To scrape data from the web, make sure you choose the rotating option in the session type as this will provide you a new IP address for every request you make.
With this, your scraping activity is hidden as the target site can’t link your multiple requests to you and as such, you wouldn’t be rate-limited. I need you to pay attention to the geo-location requirement of your task. If you need IPs from specific countries, you should double-check and make sure it is one of the 38 supported countries in the AnyIP network.
Web Automation
Scraping is a special type of web automation that collects data. There are other forms of automation that are specialized such as trading bots, checkout bots for sneaker copping, and even bots for filling out online forms. In most cases, you will need a proxy, and the proxies from AnyIP will work.
If you need to maintain a session, you should use their sticky session type. You will be provided a URL to visit and that will immediately change your IP address. This means you can both maintain and switch sessions quickly which is great for this kind of task.
账户管理
The session management system of AnyIP is currently the best I have seen in the rotating residential proxy market and this makes it great for account management. First, it has the longest duration. The average rotating proxy will only maintain a session for up to 30 to an hour at max including the likes of Bright Data. However, AnyIP does support maintaining the same IP address for up to 7 days.
Secondly, when it is time to change your IP, it smartly looks for an IP from the same carrier within the same region to assign to you. This makes things look more natural leaving no room for suspicion. You can even use it to general multiple proxy endpoints and make multiple accounts using an antidetect browser like Multilogin and GoLogin.
社交媒体自动化
Another use case worth mentioning separately is social media automation, powered by their mobile rotating service. If you need to automate multiple social media accounts, you need to use mobile IPs to avoid raising suspicion and their mobile proxy network is a good alternative.
It offers you a large pool of IPs, offers excellent session control, and is arguably the cheapest in the market you can use. What I do like about AnyIP is that its mobile proxy pricing is the same as its residential proxies which makes it affordable to small proxy users.

How Does AnyIP Proxy Service Work?
The AnyIP service does not own the IPs it routes requests through, does not have complete control over the IPs, and can’t guarantee requests will succeed. While this is seen as bad at first glance, if you consider it has a pool of 35 million IPs with a sizeable percentage of this available for you at any period in time, then you can tell why this is not a problem. When you use the AnyIP service, your requests are routed twice before they get to the target server. Let me explain how this works.
AnyIP as stated maintains a P2P pool with millions of IPs in it. When you send a web request and it receives it, it looks into the pool and retrieves an available IP address which it sends the requests through. By doing this, the target site sees that device/IP address as the originator of the request and not you — this is the way AnyIP hides your real IP address from websites you visit. The response is sent to that device which routes it to AnyIP and AnyIP sends it back to you.
The above is a simplified explanation. The way it works is quite complex. Take, for example, if you use session IPs, the IP assigned isn’t changed until it is either unavailable or you access the URL provided for changing the IP. Even the IP rotation is systematic as it is changed in a way that does not raise suspicion, unlike other providers. Here, the IP switched to is usually from the same carrier and region in other to make it appear as natural as possible.

定价和功能
One area the team at AnyIP got it right is the area of pricing as they have been able to balance quality to an extent with affordable pricing. Generally, you wouldn’t need to make a choice between their residential and mobile proxies based on pricing as they share the same price — your decision would have to be based on suitability for the task. The pricing for the service is based on bandwidth.
The smallest plan available is the micro plan which comes with 5GB and is sold for $25. There is also the one with 20GB, 100GB, and 500GB sold at $80, $300, and $100 respectively.
The price per GB differs depending on the package subscribed to as it is $5 per GB for the 20GB package and $3 per GB for the $300 package. Regardless of the plan subscribed to, you get access to unlimited IP addresses from the pool and can choose from any of the 38 supported countries.
The service does not offer a trial plan. If you need to try out their service, you should go for the smallest plan (5GB). If you aren’t satisfied, you can get a refund within 14 days of payment —provided you paid via card payment. Crypto payments are non-refundable.

Features of AnyIP Proxies
Below are some of the key features of this service and their proxies.
- Has a large pool with over 35 million IP addresses in it. For the most part, this is enough for mid to some large-scale scraping tasks. However, using the geo-location targeting support can shrink the number available to you.
- The service supports only 38 countries some of which include the US, UK, Canada, France, India, Germany, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, and Italy, among others. If your task requires IPs from a specific location, you should pay close attention to the list of supported countries before making a purchase.
- Session support is impressive. First, you can maintain the same IP address for up to 7 days. This is great for a rotating proxy and one of a kind. Secondly, you can get the IP assigned switched by just sending an HTTP request to a URL to be provided to you if the session type is set to sticky. 7 days is the longest. You can set IP rotation to also after other periods such as 1 minute, 5 minutes, 60 minutes, and one day.
- High IP rotation capability as it does have support for changing the IP assigned to you after every request. This is especially useful for web scraping where you are required to switch IPs frequently.
- The authentication methods supported include username/password authentication and IP authentication. With IP authentication, all you need is to whitelist the IP address of the device you want to use this on — there wouldn’t be a need to provide a username and password to authenticate again.
- Pricing for the service is affordable, especially for those that require more than a few GBs. Take, for instance, if you purchase their 100GB for $300, the cost per GB here is $3. This is in contrast to their smallest plan that 1GB is sold for $5.
- Customer support is excellent to some degree. They do have a live chat support feature with responsive agents who have a good grasp of their service. In case no agent is online, you can send them an email. You should get a response in just a few hours.
- Multiple protocols are supported. Currently, the service supports HTTP/HTTPS and the SOCKS5 protocols.
- There is a 14-day money-back guarantee for new users. However, it is important you know that this is only available for those who paid using card as crypto payment are not eligible for refunds. Currently, the service does not offer a free trial.

How to Use AnyIP Proxies
The user interface for the dashboard is quite clumsy and not clean enough for most people. However, it does work. Below are the steps required in other to make use of their proxies.
1. Visit the official website of the AnyIP website and create an account. You are required to verify your account in other to make use of it.
2. Log into the user dashboard with your username and password. For now, you do not have a proxy so you can’t use the service until you pay for their proxies.
3. Go to the plan section of the tab on the left-hand side and choose the specific plan you want — the smallest comes with 5GB and is sold for $25. Payment is via card and crypto. Once you are done with the payment, you can then go ahead to the next step.
4. To use the purchased proxies, go to the Proxies section of the tab and you will see a list of team members (in your case, only one team member will be there since you haven’t created any). By the right side of the team member name are two buttons use and disable.
5. Click on the Use button and an interface will be shown where you can configure and get proxies.
6. Under network, you can choose either mobile or residential — let's go with residential.
7. In the session type, choose the sticky option as we will want to maintain the same IP address. In the case of web scraping where you want to rotate IPs frequently, you choose the rotating option.
8. In the connection type option, choose the protocol you want — I choose HTTP for illustration here.
9. In the specific country, the option chosen is worldwide. Change it to country and select the specific country you need IPs from.
10. There is an option to change the password to a different password. In my case, I left it as it is.
11. Scroll down and you will see a section titled ‘Proxy credentials to use’. Under it, you will see the proxy server address, port, username, and password to use. Copy the details and use it in your client application or script that requires proxies.

我们的速度测试
One question I haven’t answered all this while is about performance and it is for a reason — I left it for the last. The question is, how fast is AnyIP residential proxies? According to their own official performance result, response time is less than 400 ms. To provide an answer to this question, I needed to test the proxies and have results I could use to determine whether the service was fast or not.
Before going into the test, please do bear with me as my Internet connection is terrible. However, it can still be used as a benchmark to determine the performance. The speed testing tool used is speedtest.net. first, let's start with my speed test result without using any proxy.
As you can see above, the performance is slow with a download speed of 14.94 Mbps and an upload speed of 18.77 Mbps — the ping rate is also terrible. Let's see how the AnyIP compares to this result to decide whether it is fast or not. Below is one of the test results for AnyIP using the same speedtest.net.
Surprisingly, the upload speed was way better at 33.50 Mbps compared to my result without proxies. The download speed that appears to be slower is a good result considering how slow my connection is. I tried using the proxies to access and surf the web and I noticed two things. First, the connection is fast as if I wasn’t using a proxy. Secondly, all sites I accessed opened with none blocking me from using a proxy. With this, I can say confidently that the residential proxies offered by the service are fast.

结论
The AnyIP service thick many boxes. It offers high-performance proxies with decent speed. Offer the longest session duration with a smart session rotation system, and has a large pool with some of the most sought-after countries supported. It also comes with high IP rotation support and a helpful customer support system with live chat support.
With all of this, the AnyIP service is highly recommended both for web automation and account management. However, I recommend you pay attention to the geo-location requirement of your task as the service only offers IPs from 38 countries.
